Many people struggle with an underlying anxiety around food which impairs their quality of life. This often involves dietary restriction and restraint and food obsession, which, although may not indicate a diagnosable eating disorder, still needs addressing to help clients live a healthier and more fulfilled life.
If you are concerned about a client or loved one, or are interested in improving your own relationship with food, the Eating Behaviour Assessment Tool will help you identify areas which may need some work.
The questionnaire is adapted from the Intuitive Eating Assessment Scale-2 based on Tracy Tylka’s research and Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch’s model of Intuitive Eating.
